No lady should be insulted for having standards, please.
If her standards are too high for you, you should find someone else whose standards you perfectly fit into.
It is better to have high standards than to have none!
I’ve heard people mock ladies for being single because they think her standards are too high. This is really bad.
People are single or still single for different reasons. I was teasing a friend who is above thirty about getting married and the reply I got was “I am not ready.”
I hope you know not everyone is single because no guy is coming around or because they can’t find a lady? Some are simply not just ready. Readiness for marriage is not by age.
You can be 25 and very much ready and another person who is 30 isn’t ready. Stop assuming for people. Especially those you do not know beyond social media. You’re not in their life, you’re only on their Facebook friends list.
Sis, as long as your standards are realistic and Godly, do not lower it for anyone. You are more and you deserve more. You can’t marry just anyone and you can’t marry anyhow.
You deserve a God-Honoring marriage!
You deserve to be happy in marriage. You deserve a man who sees you beyond a sex toy and cook. You won’t be married for a year or two, your marriage is going to last, honoring God and fulfiling His purpose.
So, marry well. Marry in God. Do not lower your standards. Marry your friend. Marry your destiny and ministry partner if you have a call upon your life. Marry a man who understands where you’re going and will be a part of the journey.
Marry a man who is not lazy physically and spiritually. Don’t marry a man who wants to be the wife. Marry a priest, a father! Don’t be pressured into lowering those beautiful standards.
God has amazing sons. A man who fits in perfectly, beyond your expectations will find you in due season. The journey ahead is too far to embark on with a man you’ll have to manage for the rest of your life.
