Conviction Is Different From Love

When someone says they’re not convinced to go into a relationship with you, it simply means they are not. Don’t force it.

Conviction is different from love. There are certain people you love but not convinced to propose marriage to/accept to marry. Isn’t it?

Marry someone you love. But you must understand that it is conviction(s) that will keep you going in the days you don’t feel like going.

To a lot of people, love is more of a feeling than a decision. Feelings are not stable, convictions are. Once you’re married, you have an obligation to love your spouse.

When there are no longer tingles and emotions to keep you loving, your conviction and commitment can set you into that motion.

Conviction is a divine assurance that your spouse is the RIGHT and SUITABLE person for you in marriage. Genesis 2:18 “….I will make a helper suitable for him(her).”

It’s a deep knowing, a confidence beyond explanations. It is therefore not wise to go into ‘a relationship with marriage in view’ without a conviction.

I’m trusting God to help you understand this. If it is not God’s will, God does not have a part to play in it. #Selah

Papa Asegun Oluyemi said “relationships don’t work just because the people in it made some efforts, it works because God is at the centre of it.”

Powerful thoughts, sir!

Whatever God ordains, His desire is to see it to the end if we continue to put Him at the centre of that ordination.

Convictions are not to be gotten when you’re already in a relationship, get your convictions right before going into a relationship.

And if you’re already in a relationship that lacks a conviction, it is not too late to go back to God in the place of prayer.
