Dear LADY, it is true that whatever happens in a relationship, you’re the one at the receiving end.
This is enough reason to not allow your emotions be the one leading you. They are fickle and do not last.
Go into a relationship with your altar of convictions. Don’t go into a relationship that has no direction, one that’s going nowhere.
Don’t make yourself available to be used and dumped.
Love is not blind. God has given you a working brain. Use it.
The Holy Spirit is in you to guide you. Your emotions will land you in trouble, the result of any decision you make out of your emotions is regret.
Do not go into a relationship to waste six years of your life. That is foolishness, not love. Do not follow a man who is going nowhere. Your life should not lack direction either.
When breakup happens, the guys move on faster. But you don’t. A relationship that has no direction and focus is not for you. Be patient, wait for God.
Two years ago, I counseled a lady in her 30s who got tired of her five years relationship when the guy said he doesn’t know whether they will marry or not. After five years!
If you say yes to a man who’s going nowhere, you’re not moving either. Your life will be stucked! If you don’t allow the Spirit of God lead you in all areas of your life, you will pay dearly for it.
