Dear singles, allow people be themselves when meeting you for the first time. They should be comfortable around you. As long as it’s not weird or offensive, they’re free to be themselves. A sensible person knows how well to behave.
You should stop making a guy/lady put up an act just to impress you. You could be doing that to your own disadvantage. You can’t get to know people that way. If you keep judging people by “first impression”, you will miss out on really good people.
There’s a second and third impression. Are they consistent? Watch it. First impression isn’t enough to know whether or not to be in a relationship with someone. Anyone can pretend to be who they’re not just to please you or get your attention.
The next time you’re meeting with someone for the first time, be yourself and give him/her the same right. No drama. Keep it real. Don’t expect unnecessary impression. Allow them breathe biko. And if you don’t like what you see, you’re free to make your choice.
