If you’re thinking and hoping God will punish your ex, think again.
My sister my brother, calm down.
Heartbreak can make you say all kinds of things in your mind.
You’ll be praying prayers like, “God, deal with him.” “God, show her pepper.” “God, let them regret what they did to me.”
But let me tell you something.
God is not sitting in heaven waiting to carry out revenge on your ex because they left you.
Sometimes people leave because they no longer love you.
Sometimes they leave because you’re not compatible.
Sometimes they leave because the relationship simply wasn’t meant to continue.
And painful as it may be, that does not automatically make them a w¡cked person that heaven must punish.
You too have probably ended a relationship before.
You too have walked away from someone you didn’t want.
You too have chosen someone else over another person.
Life happens.
Instead of praying for punishment, pray for healing.
Pray for clarity.
Pray for the strength to move on.
Because the real testimony is not that your ex suffers.
The real testimony is that you heal, grow, and eventually meet someone who chooses you wholeheartedly.
And when that happens, you will realize something.
You didn’t need God to punish your ex. You only needed God to help you move on.
Brethren, choose HEALING. It will serve you better than revenge.
