For Single Ladies

Dear ladies, some men are not interested in your growth or who you become. They only want to use you to pursue and fulfill their own purpose. So when you marry someone like that, their energy is more on fulfiling their own purpose while your own purpose lie dormant. You will be cooking and washing noni.

I have seen this happen in some marriages and I feel for some of this women. I’m here wondering if they don’t have a purpose or their own purpose is to help another person fulfil theirs. I’ve once heard a brother say the purpose of a woman is to be a wife and help the man fulfil his purpose. Very myopic!

If you’re a woman God has deposited so much into, if you’re a woman God is preparing for a generation and has called for more, please open your eyes so you don’t fall into the hands of these set of men. You have a purpose to fulfil, your husband has a purpose to fulfil. The fulfilment of your individual purpose should find expression in each other.

Yours doesn’t have to die for a man’s purpose to be fulfilled. Especially for those of you who will be married to ministers. Deborah was a wife and a judge. She had a calling upon her life and she fulfiled it. This is why I counsel ladies to find and start fulfiling their purpose long before marriage, else you’d end up being used to fulfil another man’s.

God has created you for a reason and He has profit in the fruit you bear. When a man finds you fulfiling your purpose, he knows you have a greater assignment to pursue in marriage and must be ready to support you. But when he finds you doing nothing in particular, you become the fulfilment strategy for his own purpose.

When you’re not busy tending your own garden, someone else will employ you to tend theirs. Selah.
